It’s a great idea to take an afternoon break on a busy Disneyland day – this gives you a lot more energy to stay late or last multiple days at the parks! Head back to your hotel to swim or take a nap – OR, stay in the parks and check out some of the more relaxing attractions.

Break Spots in Disneyland Park

 

 

  • Tom Sawyer Island: Take a raft across the Rivers of America to this super fun spot – you’ll discover caves, trails, pirate gold and more
  • Mark Twain Riverboat: Take a leisurely cruise on the Rivers of America
  • Disneyland Railroad: Ride all the way around the park on a ~15 minute journey, or hop on and off at different stations
  • Disneyland Monorail: Take a ride on the monorail and enjoy some of the best views of the resort – hop off at the Downtown Disney stop or stay on for a roundtrip journey.
  • Main Street Cinema: Catch a cartoon short out inside and out of the elements
  • Enchanted Tiki Room: Grab a Dole Whip on your way in and enjoy the blissful air conditioning!
  • Storytelling at Royal Theater: Located in Fantasy Faire next to the castle – a nice entertaining break in the shade!
