A Quick Run Around the World at the Food & Wine Festival 2019

The foodie paradise that is Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival is nearly through its 2019 run and for the first time in my life, I am fairly certain I have eaten at least one item at every location. Considering I live in Colorado, this was no easy feat! On my first visit, I basically ignored two Kingdoms, Magic and Animal, just to maximize my time in Epcot (and Galaxy’s Edge!). A couple weeks ago, I stopped in for a tragically short amount of time to sweep up the rest of the dining locations I missed on the first trip.

It has been a pretty great run, tasting some old favorites and trying new tastes. I am heading back in to Epcot for one more trip this year and I can’t wait to revisit some of my favorites! If you have never tried out Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival or any of their festivals for that matter, you are missing out! Get in touch with one of our travel planning experts and book your trip for next year. If you’re feeling spontaneous, there are still a few weeks left of this year’s fest!

In the meantime, check out some of my favorites from this year’s feast.

Morocco’s hummus fries were crunchy and had just a bit of heat!

Even on a hot day, Roasted Irish Sausage is delightful. Well, if you have a Guinness and Bailey’s shake to wash it down it is!

Jerk-Spiced Chicken from the Caribbean wasn’t heavily spiced, but it was delicious.

Tostada de Carne and Capirotade de Chocolate. Just visit Mexico and get both!

The Frothy Ramen has a weird name, but it’s descriptive. Visit Japan for this savory treat!

The Alps hosted a blueberry and almond tart that wasn’t too heavy. The blueberries and cream were great complements, even in the rain!

Need to cool off? Head to Earth Eats for a trio of kombucha samples.

While you’re there, try out the Impossible Burger slider for a meatless treat.

One of the best? The striped tuna tostada and ginger mule beer at Coastal Eats.

Fine! One more! The Spam Hash was seriously good but a bit heavy in the hot sun. Better wash it down with an Aulani Sunrise!
