One of the questions we get the most at ConciEARS is, “Should I stay on property or do a Good Neighbor Hotel like I have at Disneyland?” The answer is yes, stay on property! For one, there are many hotels to choose from that can fit in any price range for a family. Disney has Value Resorts like the different All-Star Hotels, Moderate Resorts like the Port Orleans Resort, and Deluxe
Resorts like the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa just to name a few. When you stay on property, you can book your first three Fast Passes for each day in the parks 60 days ahead of your trip whereas those staying off-property only get 30 days in advance. This means you are more likely to get onto the rides you want with those extra days. Guests staying on property get an Extra Magic Hour in one of the parks every day. Whether it is in the morning or evening, this bonus further expands your experience!
One of the extra travel perks you get is the Magical Express. You receive free transportation from the Orlando Airport to your resort and back on your departure date. For most of the day except for very late at night Disney will pick up your luggage at the airport and bring it straight to your hotel room so that you may start your adventure right away! On your departure date, you can check in your luggage at the front of the hotel and they will make sure your bags make it to the airport leaving one less thing to worry about.
Another cool feature you get is access to is the Disney Dining Plan. There are three options to choose from: Quick Service Dining, the normal Dining Plan, and Deluxe Dining Plan. These plans include a set number of pre-paid meals for each day of your trip. There are times where Disney offers a free Dining Plan promotion, depending on the length of your vacation and the type of resort. Having a vacation planner from ConciEARS at your back is a great idea, as this is the kind of thing we look out for. We make sure your family is getting the best savings on your trip and can reduce your trip cost if a free dining plan becomes available. If you were to book at a Good Neighbor Hotel, a Disney Dining Plan would not be available to you. Speaking of reservations, staying on property allows you to book your dining reservations for your whole trip 180 days in advance of your first day at the Resort! This allows you get first dibs at some of the restaurants that are very hard to get into like Be Our Guest, ‘Ohana, and Cinderella’s Royal Table. The Disney resorts also host complementary movie experiences every night at poolside or with a campfire, further adding to the Disney Magic.
Lastly, you will be within what is referred to as the “Disney Bubble.” This phenomenon occurs when your transportation, park experience, hotels, dining, and everything else on your trip is filled with Disney Magic. So what are you waiting for? Contact your personal magical vacation planner at ConciEARS and we will be sure to assist you in creating your wonderful Disney vacation.
