A Ghoulish Getaway for Spooky Season

Halloween may be months away, but Halfway to Halloween is here! Last week Disney dropped a lot of information on what’s to come for this Spooky Season and incase you missed it, here’s what you can expect to see at the parks!

Disneyland Resort:

Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party is returning! Get ready for chills and thrills at Disney California Adventure when you attend this exclusive after-hours event. Details will be announced this summer for ticket prices and dates but you can bet to have an eerie-sistible time!

Last year, this howling extravanganza was held 2-4 nights a week, from September 6th to Halloween. The parties started at 6pm and ended at 11pm.  Those who were lucky enough to snag their claws on these terrifying tickets were able to enter the park beginning at 3pm!

Mickey and Minnie will be donning new costumes that are just boo-tiful! Their Orange and green ensemble are sure to make you batty. 

Update 5/31/23

Dates for Oogie Boogie Bash have been announced! From September 5th to October 31st you can choose from 25 different nights to catch this spellbinding spooktacular! Tickets go on sale for the general public June 29th at 9am P.T. and June 27 will be the presale for Magic Key Holders. Walt Disney World:

Starting August 11th, guests at the Magic Kingdom can attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This spooktacular event will kick off at 7pm and tickets are available to all guests already! There are 38 different dates to choose from with the last wicked party to be November 1st. 

You won’t want to miss the Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade! It is sure to amaze you as the Haunted Mansion graveyard diggers make their way down Main Street. Jack Skellington will be hosting frightfully fun fireworks, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. Expect to see some of your favorite characters in this haunting show! Every night you can catch the spellbinding Sanderson Sisters in front of Cinderella’s Castle during the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular.

Tricks and Treats

Leave extra room in your suitcase to take home all of the many sweets you’ll receive from the different trick-or-treat locations from both parties!! 

We can’t forget about merch! Disney gave a shriek-peek at new spirit jerseys, plushies, Loungefly bags and so many more goodies you’ll be dying to get your hands on. Check your crystal ball for when these treats will materialize in the parks and on shopDisney.

Lastly, and most importantly, is how to plan ahead for these dazzling parties!
