Nothing messes with a Disney news story quite like Disney. A mere day after we reported on the few details we had regarding the Disneyland Resort reopening plan, we got a whopper of an update! Most of the details from yesterday are the same. Check them out here! Otherwise, this blog is current as of the evening of Tuesday, April 6th.
Don’t Be Late!
We have dates now! Starting April 9th, guests can go to Disneyland.com/ParkUpdates to reserve their day at the parks, but only if they have a 1-day ticket. April 12th brings reservations to other guests with tickets. April 15th is the money day! Tickets sales resume at last!
While we’re on the topic, you can reserve your spot at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure restaurants starting April 22nd. Capacity will be reduced, so some of these locations will be tOugh to secure. Give your ConciEAR planner a call to help out. We’re happy to work on the dinner of your dreams!
The Park!
Good news! Park hopping still lives!
Guests can move from park to park like the old days but with a few caveats. You need to set your reservation for one park to start your day. Once you visit that park, you can move to another one after 1pm. This is very similar to what we have seen at Walt Disney World since they opened up park hopping in January.
For now, park hours will be set from 9 am to 7 pm. Operating hours may change over time, so make sure you check the Disneyland site or ask your ConciEARS planner for updates. We are on the case!
The Hotels!
An update to last night’s post, your ConciEARS planners can start arranging hotel stays for you on April 15th at the same time we are arranging your park tickets! Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier are still set to reopen later, but the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa will open its doors on April 29th. Just in time for opening day!
This has been a crazy year, closing the gates of Disneyland. As this world inches back to life, it is great to see California and Disneyland start to reopen. If you have any questions along the way, give us a call! Your ConciEARS planners are here to help you plan the Disneyland trip you never knew you needed!
