There really is no place like the Disney Parks for the holidays. It’s pure magic from the holiday decor, to the sweet smells of delicious treats, and the chipper festive music. I have so many fond memories of light shows, gingerbread houses, massive Christmas trees, and beautiful Disney snow. This holiday season is a little different from previous years but there is so much to be excited about at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Walt Disney World is filled with holiday decorations from wreaths to poinsettias and of course the huge, dazzling Christmas trees! Expect magical projection shows on Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom as well as Tree of Life Awakenings-Holiday Edition at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and The Hollywood Holiday Hotel at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You’ll see holiday cavalcades full of your favorite Disney characters and Santa Claus will be visiting all the parks as well! Love Disney’s snow flurries like me? Disney Springs is letting it snow at Town Center and the West Side.
So many delicious treats to try! Epcot even has a festival dedicated to them. From November 27th-December 30th enjoy the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays which includes a Holiday Cookie Stroll! Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios don’t miss a dining experience with Minnie Mouse- Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine. There are also many other special offerings throughout the parks and hotels.
It’s not the holidays without some festive tunes. Epcot is full of musical entertainment from holiday performances by Voices of Liberty to the JAMMitors at the Canada Pavilion. There is even a pianist and check out Joyful! A Celebration of the Season. Enjoy the Discovery Island Drummers Festive Flotilla at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Over at Magic Kingdom you’ll hear the Dapper Dans perform on a Holiday Trolley and Main Street Philharmonic will be spreading musical holiday cheer.
Holiday celebrations are happening at the Walt Disney World Resort from November 6- December 30, 2020. Our ConciEARS team is ready and excited to help you plan your perfect magical holiday getaway! Happy Holidays!
