Hello! My name is Annie Dolan and I am thrilled to announce that I am officially a Disney Travel Planner with ConciEARS! I truly feel that my life journey has been leading me towards this amazing work and I can’t wait to plan magical Disney vacations for my clients.
I grew up in Seattle, Washington and now live just outside the city in Sammamish with my husband and our 3 boys. As a child, my grandparents lived in Southern California, so trips to Disneyland were a regular occurrence for our family. We also had the exciting opportunity to travel around the world through my dad’s work with a cruise line – annual trips to places like Alaska, the Mediterranean, and the Baltic Sea instilled in me a love of travel and exploration. Our adventures didn’t stop there as we traveled regularly to Mexico, Hawaii, other European destinations, and I had the opportunity to live abroad in Rome during college. I can’t wait to use all this first-hand knowledge to help my clients plan not only their Disney Theme Park vacations, but also Aulani, Disney Cruise Line, and Adventures by Disney travel!
After graduating with a business degree from the University of Notre Dame I moved back to Seattle and began a career at Nordstrom. I spent a couple of years working on the floor in sales and management, then I moved to the corporate offices and worked in buying and planning. After several years, my husband’s job moved us temporarily to Chicago, where I had the opportunity to work as the buyer for the collection of Notre Dame Bookstores.
These varying experiences have instilled in me the values of hard work, customer service, planning, creativity, and a love of exploration. All skills that serve me and my clients well. Unfortunately, however, I am a total perfectionist and spontaneous travel is not my forte. (Not to mention anything spontaneous is more difficult with 3 little boys in-tow!) But I’ve learned over the years that the key to enjoyable family travel is thorough planning. Of course, not everything always goes as planned! But in my opinion, feeling well prepared for your (often expensive!) vacation is the key to fun and magic for everyone! I love giving the gift of planning to my clients – let me do all the hard work for you and sit back and enjoy a memorable experience with your family.
